Before we get into today's business, I don't want to name names, but what was with that red carpet makeup disaster? (If you don't know what I'm talking about, Google those words.) MUA Andrew Sotomayor is in my office with the PR team as I type and we can't stop talking about it. Let's hope Allure, AOL Stylelist or one of our favorite intrepid beauty bloggers gets to the bottom of how it happened. Inquiring minds, with too much time on their hands, want to know.

What Are You Doing Tonight? (Giveaway Alert!)

Hi everyone. I've been a bad blogger this week! Sorry to our regular readers!! This is totally last minute, but if you live in New York City or near Short Hills, New Jersey, we have two fun events starting in a few hours. I'll be at Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan to introduce Nina Garcia for a special Genifique Eye and Absolue Precious Cells event featuring the "Project Runway" star and Marie Claire editor. Then over at the Short Hills Mall, one of my favorite malls in the U.S, we're doing a fun event at our Lancome boutique to benefit Project Ladybug, a charity that helps children with cancer and their families. It was founded by "Real Housewife of New Jersey" Dina Manzo. Ten percent of the evening's proceeds will be donated to Ladybug.
