Chantecaille Spring 2011: Sea Turtle Palette and Tiger in the Wild (Revisited)

Enchanting! That's what comes to mind when I think of Chantecaille.  Once again, Olivia Chantecaille charms us with her delightful palettes that create experiences of both elegance and feeling good about the purchase.

Universally flattering, the Sea Turtle Palette ($78) features two eye colors in Soft Pearl and Golden Brown, a deep Emerald liner and a pink cheek shade.  The formula is made with the highest quality pearl and pigment particles. The two eye shades reflect the golden warmth of new spring neutrals complimented by an on trend deep sea green eye defining shade. The perfect coral/pink cheek color offers a universally flattering flush of rosy warmth.

Chantecaille is partnering with Dr. Karen Eckert of the WIDECAST Organization, focused on saving sea turtles in North, South and Central America and the Caribbean. 5% of proceeds from this palette will help WIDECAST ensure the survival of sea turtles.

Tiger in the Wild ($78) was carefully selected to go with Fall Trends and includes eyeshades in Cream, Pewter and Indigo, as well as a flattering sheer persimmon cheek shade, however these shades are divinely perfect for this year's Spring as well.

To celebrate and raise awareness for the wild tiger, Chantecaille has created a limited-edition palette with a selection of easy-to-wear cheek and eye shades with an elegant tiger embossing.  While the world celebrates the Year of the Tiger, the plight of this majestic animal continues. In fact, this celebration of the tiger places it in a more perilous situation. Tigers are poached, hunted and exterminated for profit. 5% of the proceeds benefit TRAFFIC .

Chantecaille Sea Turtle Palette and Tiger in the Wild Palette are both available at Space.NK and Nordstrom.

Stila's 4th Travel Palette: Make an Impression in Moscow + Why I Know about It

Oh Stila travel palette ... fourth in the series of $10 mini product treasures ... where for art though, travel palette?  And why art Roxy gettin' the scoop before the rest of us?

Well, truth be told, Roxy ... ahem ... I ... didn't.  This post is inspired by an anonymous reader who wanted to know how I got a sneak preview of the Stila Make an Impression in Moscow Travel Palette highlighted in my last post.  The "Moscow" palette is fourth in Stila's series of travel minis set to be released in mid-September. It offers four scrumptious Stila eyeshadows (that shimmery light baby blue is particularly gorg) and a Convertible Color cheek and lip cream in a peachy-blushy rose hue.

Did I have the inside scoop from a savvy source? Was I given top secret clearance to the world of Stila? Did Stila's PR and press agents slide the news to me in a wisely transmitted email? Did I somehow sneakily steal into the Stila labs late one night and snap a picture of the next travel palette with my trusty cameraphone.  Newsflash: Roxy ain't that ambitious!

Allow me to introduce you to the fantastically fun and informative MSN site Glo.  Ladies and fellas, if you've not been clued into Glo yet and learning all about what they have to share on topics such as Beauty, Style, Relationships and Living then you're in for a treat!  Glo is fun, it's interactive, it's visually appealing and right on trend.  Glo is who turned me on to a preview of Stila's Make an Impression in Moscow Travel Palette as well as other multi-tasking palettes (which I reproduced in an abbreviated effort in my last post below).

Enjoy! xo

Stila Limited Edition Travel Palette #2 Pretty in Paris ONLY $10!

Considering the pigmentation power, the blendable creamy formulas and the bang for the buck, how does one pass on a Stila Travel Palette? As much as I've tried to resist, I've just not been able to. I bought the first one, and I'm waiting for the second to arrive now!

Those who haven't seen these little palettes of goodness first-hand should be warned they truly are bitty in size.  The images we receive in email, on the Stila site, and even here give the impression that the "palettes" are larger in actual size than they are.  They're about the size of an index card.  However, don't let that make you think you're not getting a lot of product.  As with most Stila items, a little goes a long way due to the quality of the pigmentation.  I'm enjoying collecting these, and certainly enjoying wearing the shadows and their famous convertible color duo of creamy blush/lip multi-tasker.

Limited-edition Pretty in Paris travel palette captures the joie de vive of the city of lights. You get 4 distinct-yet-complementary eye shadows and a harmonizing, dual lip-and-cheek cream that will have you looking très manifique!
This cute, collectible palette includes:

Four eye shadows:
  • Crepe (pale pink)
  • Cherie (reddish brown)
  • Jolie (brownish pink)
  • Chocolat (brown)

Convertible Color:
  • Rosebud

Available for a limited time exclusively at Stila for $10!
