Happy Halloween from The Lancome Blog!

Are you a big Halloween fan? I am, but for some reason, I didn't inherit the Halloween costume gene. I don't dress up, but I love seeing other people's creativity come out during the holiday. I especially love that YouTube explodes with Halloween how-to videos this time of year. It seems like it's the equivalent of the Olympics for the popular makeup artists and "gurus" over there. They're all competing to see who can do the best and the most Halloween videos.

If you haven't watched any, I put a few above to save you some time! Regardless of what you're looking for, you can find it on YouTube. There's super scary from the likes of Petrilude, fun and sexy from Miss Jessica Harlow, and everything in between. I love Michelle's "Catwoman" video, but if I had to wear a costume, I'd want to wear the mask and makeup from Michelle's "Elegant Masquerade" video or Jessica's "Jessica Rabbit." Although I'm not sure I have what it takes to fill out that dress without a lot of help.

(Did you notice the nail polish in the "Catwoman" and "Elegant Masquerade" videos? It's Le Gris L'Wren from the L'Wren Scott holiday collection. It's more blue grey in person and as I've mentioned before, I think it's one of the most beautiful nail polish colors ever! We've also gotten a ton of inquiries about the lipstick in "Elegant Masquerade." It's L'Absolu Rouge Lipstick in Cherrywood Luxe.)

If you have a favorite Halloween video, leave the link in the comments below. Also let us know how and if you celebrate Halloween. To our international readers, what does your country do on Halloween?

Hope to see some of you at PS1 tomorrow!! Happy Halloween!!

It's Almost Halloween! Check Out Michelle Phan's Latest Video (& Make Sure to Watch The Ending!)

Looking for Halloween costume ideas? Make sure to check out Michelle Phan's latest round of videos. She's got some fun ideas, from the Sailor Moon video above to Snow White and a seductive vampire. Even if you're not looking for costume ideas, you'll still pick up some great tips from Michelle. Her techniques are terrific.

Not familiar with Sailor Moon? I wasn't either. (Sorry, Michelle!) But this adorable anime character really inspired Michelle when she was little. That said, make sure to watch the ENTIRE video. There's a really nice ending.

If you watch, let us know what you think.

As Emili the Intern would say, peace.love.lancome.
